Who doesn’t love a fresh bowl of fruit, salad and a glass of ready-to-be made smoothies?! If you don’t then you’re missing out! haha
So these past few weeks I’ve been doing a meal prep for the week on a sunday, it’s great because it saves you a lot of time and its on hand when you need it with your meals.
So I’ve put together a few things that I love incorporating into my food as part of my healthy balanced diet.
The thing I love about this is that I can still eat my favourite meals.. you know the rice & stew.. chicken, beef and even pizza! I Just make sure I have my vegetables and tasty salad with my meals because I need those nutrients!! The fruits on the other hand stops me reaching for those chocolate bars or packets crisps!
So firstly we have:
Two cups of sliced fruits to be blended into breakfast smoothies. Must be consumed within 2 days (Keep in the fridge) and repeat recipe or your own every 2 days (So it doesn’t go off).
1. Apple Blackberry, Blueberry, lime and 150ml of cranberry juice (Picture Above) (So veryy Yum)
2. we have: Strawberry, Kiwi, Mango and Banana 150ml Apple juice. Click here For my starbwerry kiwi smoothie recipe
3. Fruit Bowl, great snack for a packed lunch: Sliced Apple, Kiwi, Strawberry, Blueberry, Pineapple.
4.Vegetable bowl: Gotta keep it green! Broccoli, Monge Tu, Green beans.
5. Romaine Lettuce, Spinach, Rocket leaves, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Avocado and red onions. All washed and Sliced. If you want to have an idea of how to layer your salad Click here
