To celebrate the launch of Magnum Double I have teamed up with @MagnumUK to create 2 fun flavoursome toppings for the Magnum Double Peanut Butter.
I have a thing for peanut butter as you may or may not know so having had the opportunity to come up with a few toppings to further enhance the experience was such a pleasure and I will show you how to.
The peanut butter ice cream has the perfect balance of sweet and salty notes that leaves you longing for more. The smooth and velvety ice cream is coated with Magnum’s signature chocolate made from quality cocoa beans that provides such a satisfying crunch when you bite into it.
Hidden underneath is also a layer of peanut butter sauce that melts irresistibly along with the ice cream into your mouth – Its heaven alright and even Kendall Jenner can’t resist.
To take things a step further I decided to play around with a few toppings of my own to enhance the experience or as I like to call it my #MagnumMoment. Below are two different toppings to try and believe me you won’t be disappointed.
1 tablespoon milk chocolate sauce
handful of Dark chocolate nibs
Walnuts (use almonds or peanuts alternatively).
*Can also be enjoyed with a shot of espresso.
1 tablespoon of Melted chocolate
1/4 cup of Sweet popcorn
Lightly Salted pretzels, crushed
White chocolate circles
Toffee or caramel sauce Sauce to drizzle over.
*Please note the chocolate sauce acts as a sealant to prevent your toppings from falling all over the place as you bite into the ice cream. You can however, use any sauce of your choice just as long as it’s able to hold down the toppings.
To do this melt a chocolate bar by adding 2 tablespoons of milk into a microwavable bowl and microwave for 30 secs. Alternatively you can steam the chocolate in a bowl on the hob.
Drizzle this over your Magnum and then add your toppings and then if you’re like me add some more sauce and simply enjoy! What will your toppings be?
